Microscal's Spinning Rifflers (SRs) are manufactured with hopper capacities from 25ml to 40 litres.

The Ten Litre Spinning Riffler has two versions. The 'A' version (SR10A) extracts twenty representative samples of onetwentieth each in one pass. All twenty samples must be collected as there is no provision otherwise to collect the overspill. The sample collectors are stainless steel.
Microscal's laboratory spin riffling instruments are designed to handle materials with a wide range of particle size, cohesion, and density. Powders and granules from submicron to 4·75mm (#4) top size can be riffled.

Larger bulks may be sampled using a higher capacity riffler before feeding the resulting portions through a smaller instrument. The representativeness of the final sample is assured even when the ratio of initial bulk to final sample size is 100,000 to 1, particulate properties permitting.
Recombining samples after riffling to generate desired quantities for roundrobins, standard samples of materials, or particular tests are distinct advantages of the riffling technique.
All Spinning Riffler instruments between twentyfive millilitres and ten litres hopper capacity are enamelled and equipped with a stainless steel gapadjustable hopper (which is optional for the smallest instrument, the MSR), an adjustablerate vibratory feeder with stainless steel feeder chute, synchronous motor turntable drive, and the appropriate collection vessels. All but the MSR have an optional hopper filling aid. The one litre and five litre instruments have a detachable annular dividing head.
Parts for the SR10 instruments are NOT interchangeable with other models.
Spinning Rifflers fit appropriately into your analytical procedures at the sample preparation stage. Customer's special requirements will be carefully considered.
